Say bye, bye to the USA as for one week, you'll be on an amazing Thanksgiving vacation. Please note you have a long overnight flight ahead and because of the time zone difference, you'll likely need to depart from the USA on Friday, November 20, 2026.

After your arrival and you've succeeded through customs and immigration, your private hotel transportation guide will be there to greet you and take you to our host hotel in Lisbon - the luxurious 5- star ‘Iberostar Selection Lisboa’ where you'll spend 3 nights.

Your stay includes daily buffet breakfast.

After hotel check-in relax and refresh, as for the rest of the day/evening is on your own.

Meet & greet your fellow iTraveler's at our group breakfast at the hotel at a TBD time. After breakfast we will embark on a full day tour of Lisbon.

We will take a trip back in time to the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, visiting historical monuments such as the Belém Tower, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos Portugueses and the Jerónimos Monastery. We will also taste the most typical sweet of the city and Portugal, the Pastel de Belém, originally created by the ancient monks who lived in the Monastery. Later we will see the Ajuda Palace (former Royal Palace), the Lisbon Cathedral, the Alfama neighborhood and the most beautiful viewpoint in Lisbon, the Nossa Senhora do Monte viewpoint. The famous Avenida da Liberdade, Praça do Rossio, Praça do Comércio, Bairro Alto are places that we can not miss.

The morning is yours to explore and relax. 

You'll meet back up with the group mid afternoon to embark on our African food tour of Lisbon where will we embark on a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of the African diaspora in Lisbon. 

When we arrive back to the hotel, the rest of the evening is yours. Have a wonderful last evening in Portugal before depart for Morocco in the morning!

Late morning we will depart to spend the next few days in Marrakech, Morocco aka Land of the Setting Sun via airplane. 

Upon arrival, we will be staying at the luxurious 5-star 'Nobu Hotel Marrakech' for 4 nights and your stay includes daily buffet breakfast.

After hotel check-in relax and refresh, as for the rest of the day/evening is on your own.

After you've had your buffet breakfast, meet us down in the lobby to aboard our private motorcoach for our half day tour of Marrakech.

Our half-day tour of Marrakech begins at the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, where we can admire the stunning 12th-century Almohad architecture from the outside. Next, delve into history at the Saadian Tombs, a beautiful burial site adorned with Italian marble and intricate stucco, followed by a visit to the impressive ruins of El Badi Palace. Continue on to the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century marvel filled with lavish courtyards and exquisite mosaics. Wander through the Mellah, with its unique architecture and the Slat Al Azama Synagogue, and conclude the tour at the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where the sounds, sights, and flavors of Marrakech come to life through food stalls, street performers, and bustling market activity. 

In the evening, we’ll gather for a group dinner at a TBD location to take in the breathtaking sunset views of  the city.

After you've had your buffet breakfast, meet us down in the lobby to aboard our private motorcoaches as we head to the Atlas Mountains.

This private day trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains offers a unique Thanksgiving experience, combining breathtaking landscapes, cultural immersion, and adventure. Starting with a scenic drive through lush valleys and traditional Berber villages, guests will have the chance to interact with local residents, explore small markets, and learn about the Berber way of life. As we continue through the High Atlas foothills, we’ll enjoy stunning views, ideal for photography and relaxation. Upon sunset, we'll head into the desert for an unforgettable evening of camel rides and a dinner show under the stars, surrounded by the serene beauty of the desert. 

To make a positive impact, we encourage everyone to bring items to donate to the Berber village residents, adding a meaningful and memorable touch to our day.

The morning is yours to enjoy at your leisure, whether exploring independently or relaxing. We’ll reconvene with the group in the early afternoon for a visit to the renowned YSL Museum, followed by a stroll through the vibrant Jardin Majorelle.

Later in the evening we'll meet back up as a group one last time for a farewell dinner featuring our special giveaways!
